Red Cross Adult CPR/AED & First Aid

Red Cross CPR and First Aid training

Cardiac arrest, severe bleeding, choking, and sudden illness can happen anywhere — at home, at work, in a parking lot. This American Red Cross certified course gives you the skills and confidence to respond effectively in the critical minutes before EMS arrives.

Course content covers:

  • Adult CPR — recognizing cardiac arrest and performing effective compressions and rescue breaths
  • AED use — how to operate an automated external defibrillator and when to deploy it
  • Choking response for adults
  • Controlling severe bleeding and treating wounds
  • Responding to common medical emergencies — fainting, seizures, stroke, diabetic emergencies
  • Scene safety and how to work with incoming EMS

Certification: Students who complete the course receive an American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED & First Aid certification, valid for two years.

Who this is for: Anyone who wants to be capable in a medical emergency — at home, at work, or in public. Particularly valuable for parents, caregivers, coaches, teachers, and anyone who carries a firearm and wants their medical readiness to match.
